IYCY continue to provide nutrition services at Al-Hjafah MC.
The nutrition teams at the Al-Hjafah medical Center continue to provide nutrition and consultation services to children suffering from acute malnutrition As part of the project “IYCY Integrated emergency life-saving interventions with Nutrition, Health , WASH under the parameter 1 for most vulnerable affected populations group with high risk of famine and with high SAM prevalence in Maqbanah, and Mawza districts in Taizz”, implemented by the International Youth Council-Yemen (IYCY) and funded by Yemen humanitarian fund (YHF).

It is noteworthy that IYCY had intervened in more than one health and humanitarian project in seven districts of Taiz governorate, namely of Maqbanah, At Ta’iziyah, Jabal Habashy, Al Wazi’iyah, Mawza’a, Al Ma’afer and Dhubab districts.

addition, IYCY also re-operated and furnished a number of health centers, and provided them with lab and medical equipment, as well as the incentive for health workers.
