In the presence of the Health office Director at Al-Ma’afir district, International Youth Council-Yemen (IYCY) team inaugurated the distribution of the Clean Delivery Kit, which will target 250 pregnant mother in the three population centers after the team conducted the field survey at Al-Ma’afir district, Taiz governorate. As part of Provision of Minimum Service Package of Lifesaving Integrated Emergency Health Care and Wash services and Response for the most Vulnerable Population groups project funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund YHF.

The Director of the Health Office at the district stressed the importance of adherence to the disbursement criteria and not to grant the kit until the registration of pregnant mother and obtaining a follow-up card in order to receive care and follow-up at the center until delivery.

Worth mentioning that the districts of  Maqbanah, At Ta’iziyah, Jabal Habashy, Al Wazi’iyah, Mawza’a, and Dhubab in Taizz governorate will be targeted in the coming phases.
