The International Youth Council – Yemen, represented by Engineer Tariq Hassan, participated in the ChangeMakers20 Summit, which was hosted by the Connecting Dreams Foundation as part of C20 and Y20, under the presidency of the G20 in India..
Engineer Tareq Hassan was a keynote speaker in a session on “Quality Education,” which is among the 17 sustainable development goals set by the United Nations in 2015. Over the past years, many contributions have been made under the umbrella of the Global Campaign for Education policy, to give an accurate assessment of the objectives of the fourth goal..
The session aimed to increase knowledge and empower youth towards the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG4), and to improve the quality of education around the world..
Mr. Hassan stressed the importance of international cooperation and partnerships in order to advance the fourth goal of sustainable development and exchange best practices between countries..
The primary mission of the session was that “by 2030, it is a must to ensure that all boys and girls complete equitable, free, and quality primary and secondary education that leads to effective and appropriate educational outcomes. However, students are publicly funded, meaning they are involved in an inclusive educational process for all, regardless of their differences.” And their resources, education must be systematic and directed to provide real educational results regardless of race, gender, or female.”
The session witnessed great interaction and exchange of knowledge among the young members of the committee.
