International Youth Council Yemen launches the medical camp in Al Jahili, Mawzaa

Monday, December 2, 2019

Within the framework of the efforts and humanitarian work carried out by the Youth Council in several districts in Taiz Governorate, It launched on Monday the free medical camp in Al Jahili, Mawzaa’ district in Taiz in order to provide various medical services in the field of therapeutic services for patients and nutrition for children suffering from malnutrition, and that is after the increase in number of cases in need for medical interventions and the repeated calls made by residents in those areas who find it difficult to move to health centers due to the deteriorating economic situation resulted by the conflict.
This comes within the life-saving integrated emergency interventions project in health, nutrition, water, environmental sanitation and hygiene under the first factor of the most affeceted population groups by the threat of severe starvation and acute malnutrition
It is noteworthy that the camp seeks to provide services to 50 children in the field of nutrition
And 50 beneficiaries in the field of immunization as well as therapeutic services

On the other hand, the citizens expressed their great happiness for this response by the International Youth Council – Yemen, which would help alleviate their suffering.
