IYCY Chairman Conducted A Field Visit in Taizz Gov.

Field Visit
The Chairman of the International Youth Council – Yemen (IYCY), Dr. AbdelJabbar Ahmed, made a field visit to the IDP camps in the districts of Jabal Habashi, Al-Maafar and Mawza of Taiz Governorate. During the field visit, he visited the medical centers of Al-Ghazaliya HF, Al-Khayyami HF, Al-Hajfah HU, and Jisr Al-Hameli HF supported by IYCY and funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF). The field visit aimed to conduct a comprehensive evaluation process the IYCY is currently carrying out with the aim of developing and benefiting from the lessons resulting from the impact of the projects are being implemented as well as the methods of performance and to ensure the effectiveness of implementation in the quality of health services delivery to all project beneficiaries. The Chairman of IYCY thanked the working team in the field for the great efforts they are making, which had a tangible role by the beneficiaries and stakeholders in those areas, which brought IYCY to the position it has currently reached. In addition, Dr. AbdelJabbar urged the work team to harness all efforts and capabilities in order to provide the best possible service to the beneficiaries alike. During the visit, Dr. AbdelJabbar went to the IDPs camps to ensure the quality of service provision from the viewpoint of the beneficiaries themselves and measure the degree of satisfaction they have with the health and WASH services provided by the IYCY.
For his part, the Chairman of IYCY assured the stakeholders in the field that all these efforts and visits by the leadership of IYCY aim at adopting new innovative ideas and projects that have the greatest impact on the process of stability and economic empowerment, enhancing livelihoods and strengthening the social peace of the displaced and host communities alike.
In the end, the Chairman of IYCY concluded his field visit by urging everyone to work in a team spirit and bring about comprehensive sustainable development in those area.
