International Youth Council – Yemen (IYCY) in partnership with Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF) and UNICEF as part of Tadhafur program concluded training workshop for the community leaders in Jabal Habashi, Al-Muwasat, and Al-Maafer districts. In the presence of the Director of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor Mr. Abdo Ali Al-Habashi and the Deputy Director of the Social Affairs Office Mr. Abdulwahed Al-Azani, who thanked the efforts of IYCY in advocating issues of early marriage, child labor and school drop-out, as well as working to raise awareness and educate the community about the risks that may be attached to it.

The training workshop aims to train 20 community leaders in the three targeted districts in order to qualify and train them for the purpose of mobilizing and advocating on issues of early marriage, child labor and school drop – out, due to it is risk to the community.

It is worth mentioning that the program seeks to unify all efforts for a positive change in the behavior of society.
