IYCY launched distribution and emergency response for IDPs
International Youth Council – Yemen (IYCY) launched the distribution and emergency response for IDPs

In coordination with the National Authority for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (NAMCHA) in Taiz governorate, which follows the humanitarian situation with high responsibility. With self-funded for storage, surveying, evaluation, verification and transportation from IYCY’s warehouses to the IDPs gathering area.
IYCY launched the distribution and emergency response of IDPs in the open from Mawza district to Maqbanah district.
On which the Director General of NAMCHA issued an urgent distress call after his field visit to the IDPs and see their humanitarian situation.
The initial number of the IDPs reached more than 100 families and displacement is still ongoing.
The NFIs and ESKs have been supported by UNHCR and its executive partner, the Yemeni Women’s Union, to which IYCY thanks them for their efforts in delivering materials to IYCY’s warehouses.
