International Youth Council – Yemen (IYCY) launched the training session for health workers in Taiz, as part of the project to Provision of Minimum Service Package of Lifesaving Integrated Emergency Health Care and Wash services, funded by Yemen humanitarian fund (YHF), In the presence of the Director General of the Health Office and Population in Taiz governorate, Dr. Abdul Rahim Al-Samai, who in turn praised the efforts of IYCY in the governorate
what distinguishes IYCY is that the areas that they have targeted are conflict areas, sometimes difficult to access in the absence of NGOs, which is a credit for IYCY, He added.
The launch was attended by Dr. Fahad Al-Nimr, Director of the Family Health Department in the Governorate, Dr. Anas Al-Haddad, project health officer and health and WASH supervisors in the targeted districts.
