Preparing Youth for Business Market Workshop
International Youth Council – Yemen (IYCY) organized the fourth training workshops “Preparing Youth for Business Market” as the outcomes of International Youth Day event titled empowerment of Youth, civil society organizations and Youth Initiatives, on 16th September, 2018. The course targeted 35 trainees from youth organizations. The workshop held in the Council’s Headquarters, Sana’a at youth’s tent.

The training course aimed to prepare youth’s readiness for a high competitive business market and develop their future plans, skills and abilities in many areas, in instance (time management, behaviors and work ethics, self-management and motivation).

About 35 participants whom were both young men and women showed a big positive change in their opinions of joining the fight of job hunting in such unstable market promising theirselves that they will stand up and fight for their source of income. Youth have to be motivated, ready, and hungry for such a big fight said Executive Manager Eng. Abdulrahman Alasli but, they also need to work really hard on theirselves taking a full responsibility of what will happen next in their lives, he added.

International Youth Council – Yemen (IYCY) continues to carry out youth support to be prepared and well skilled in a drained economy and unstable business market. This workshop is part of a series of training workshops to build youth and youth institutions capacities.
