International Youth Council – Yemen (IYCY) launched the supply of medicines and medical beds to the West Coastal districts health centers.
International Youth Council – Yemen (IYCY) launched the supply of medicines and medical beds to the West Coastal districts health centers.
As part of Provision of quality lifesaving health services and responding to health related emergencies project activities in Taiz Governorate, funded by YHF, International Youth Council – Yemen on Wednesday 5/12/2018 provided the health center at Al-Aqema and Mauza health center with medicines and medical beds. This comes within the framework of providing targeted health facilities with medicines, In 7 districts targeted by the project, which are, Al-Wazaya, Al-Mukha, Jabal Habashi, Muqabna, Sharab Al-Ronaa and Ataziyah. Where the delivery was attended by Dr. Abdul Rahim Al Qasimi Director of the Health Office in the district and directors of health centers.
Dr. Abdul-Jabbar Hassan, Program Manager at the International Youth Council, praised the efforts and solidarity of all, especially the local authorities, and their contribution to facilitating the implementation of the project activities, despite the great difficulties that accompanied the work in the field as a result of the situation, especially in the West Coastal districts.
It is noteworthy that The International Youth Council – Yemen has trained the health staff of the health centers in the Directorate during the past month within the activities of the project.
It is worth mentioning that IYCY will provide other centers in the District during this month, with medicines and medical beds according to the project plan targeting the West Coastal districts.
