In a series of programs held by the International Youth Council – Yemen – in the development of civil society organizations, initiatives, and activists in the humanitarian field in the society. International Youth Council-Yemen assesses the special program (practical – theoretical) “Rapid Needs Assessment in conflict sittings program”. The program aims to generate a comprehensive assessment for school students in the capital of Yemen Sana’a, and make a study for their needs (food- sanitary-school), as well as the program is targeting civil society organizations that working in the field of humanitarian responsiveness, youth initiatives and active members in the human rights and humanitarian field.
The program will be divided into three phases, beginning assesses the needs and this phase will consist of training course for all participants, give them an introduction about the mechanism of action in terms of how to collect data and analyze it, and hoe to write and formulate recommendations as well as knowing the models that will be used for evaluate the work.
The second phase will involve the implementation of the program, so that participants will be distributed into two groups to do comprehensive field survey, gather data and analyze it to information, and write recommendations and conclusions.
The final phase, there will be a conference to discuss the program results and reports, a comprehensive recommendations, and the humanitarian interventions urgent. The duration of the program will be “7 days at a rate of 3 hours per day.” The program will be implemented in the “International Youth Council – Yemen –
