IYCY concluded the training of health workers

The International Youth Council – Yemen, IYCY, concluded the training of health workers within the project of The Emergency and Life Sustained WASH and Health Response to the highly vulnerable IDPs, host communities and returnees in Al Maafer, Jabal Habashi and Mawza districts, Taiz governorate, funded by YHF.

The training course aimed to provide 28 male and female participants from the medical centers of Al Maafer, Jabal Habashi and Mawza distric

Taiz governorate, theoretical and practical health information in health education and first aid, Corona virus covid-19, primary care for pregnant women

reproductive health and family planning in the rural communities where the medical centers are located
The training course also aimed to raise the capabilities of the participants through theoretical and practical applications that would raise the level of health performance and deal with emergency situations and improve performance
The training was carried out by making preventive measures for the covid-19 virus, in terms of providing sterile gel, Masks and gloves for the trainees and setting an appropriate distance between the trainees
The training lasted for ten days to rehabilitate health workers and upgrade their capabilities
