Young people are the most dynamic, energetic and capable of bringing change in different walks of life to better shape the future. Agriculture and Food Security

Nearly 22 million people across the Yemen will go to bed hungry tonight, most of them smallholder farmers who depend on agriculture to make a living and feed their families. Despite an explosion in the growth of urban slums over the last decade, nearly 75 percent of poor people in developing countries live in rural areas. That’s why growth in the agriculture sector has been found, on average, to be at least twice as effective in reducing poverty as growth in other sectors.

Protection, Gender and Education

Yemeni society is a conservative society where it continues to hamper women's access to resources, including access to decision-making positions through many obstacles, and gender-based violence issues remain marginal and dominated by a culture of silence

Environment, Energy and Climate Change

Yemen is suffering from the earth resource degradation at about 12.5% of the total area amounts to about 45.5 million hectares. The desertification threatens about 97% of the land and eliminates arable lands at about 3-5% per annum, furthermore.
