Youth Program Strategy:

Introduction :

      Youth represent the most important wealth of the society's wealth. They are in the widest social strata. Young people are the most dynamic, energetic and capable of bringing change in different walks of life to better shape the future. Young people look forward to a busy and fruitful life and to a society that embraces all its groups and feels its value. Attention to the youth category  is a concern for overall development in general and for self-development in particular and for the advancement of the individual and society.

       Youth strategy for the International Youth Council (IYCY) is launched towards mobilizing resources, Meet aspirations and provide basic services to them, Providing and enhancing opportunities and transforming challenges into opportunities;  it seeks to provide a safe and supportive environment conducive to non-stereotyped learning and thinking, and   Provide opportunities for experimentation, attempt and initiative, and enhance the ability to create new and authentic solutions and ideas for the reality and future of young people.

     Youth resources and real wealth and energies and capabilities, Partners in the community. Participation is the core of the development process, a means of development. it is a human right, not a democratic process and a translation for it . It is the contribution of young people to operations, graduated depends on the growing capacities of young people. In this sense, participation is related to youth stakeholders. To build a real and positive partnership with young people from the understanding of the contexts in which they live in. Build their capacities, increase their opportunities, deepen supportive and safe environments, assist them in decision-making processes, exercise their roles and responsibilities, and provide them with means of expression and change consistent with the idea of practicing and promoting democracy . International youth council- Yemen( IYCY) is based in its work with young people on what young people want to achieve, Promoting affiliation to work and community culture. Youth need constant interaction, relationships and support,  and creating opportunities and spaces for expression, participation, action and entertainment, every frame or space is an opportunity for development. And the continuity of interventions through the contexts that foster and support the culture of promoting the participation of youth in society, and depends on the effectiveness and efficiency in the implementation of goals and programs, community participation, role integration and institutional support.
